5. That the University of Wollongong Liberal Club:

a) Commend the response of the Howard Government to Japanese attempts to increase whaling quotas in Australian Waters.

b) Calls on the Whaling Commission to outlaw whaling in Australian Waters

c) Condemns the Japanese Government for their lack of action and recognition of the Law of the Sea Convention.
