Liberals claim victory in student reform debate
University of Wollongong Liberal Club President and undergraduate member of the UOW Academic Senate Warren Hudson has hailed the recent review of student associations as a victory for student representation at the University of Wollongong. In the recommendations made to the University Council, a new representative body based on Warren Hudson.s .Student Forum. proposal will be adopted, encompassing a wider range of student representatives on campus.
WUSA's stranglehold on student affairs has been broken, and they no longer have a monopoly on student representation at UOW.
