UOW Students rally in opposition to Wollongong Undergraduate Students' Association (WUSA) support of Terrorist organisations PDF Print E-mail

08 August 2006:

UOW Students rally in opposition to Wollongong Undergraduate Students' Association (WUSA) support of Terrorist organisations.

Staff and students at UOW, including the UOW Anti-Terrorism Collective staged a demonstration against WUSA's support of Hezbollah and other terrorist organisations.

The counter protest demonstrated that WUSA's interests are not in opposing war, but rather to push a one-sided pro-Hezbollah viewpoint. Rather then spending our compulsorily acquired student fees on UOW students, WUSA have chosen to divide the student body, and to push an extremist viewpoint.
