General Meeting and Bowling, Beer and BBQ - 2007

The University of Wollongong Liberal Club held a General Meeting on the 10th of Auguest 2007. Our Honourable State Patron John Ajaka attended and this was a great opportunity to meet a state parliamentarian and find out why a successful community lawyer would want to go into politics.

We enjoyed a BBQ with cricket, Frisbee, beer.. then short policy meeting, then Bowling, then we went out on the town.

The UOW Liberal Club sent a delegation to campaign for a weekend with Andrew Constance MP. With such a large electorate to cover, the additional campaign resources of the UOW Liberal Club, meant that more ground could be covered in the campaign.

2007 Annual General Meeting

On Thursday, 19 April, the UOW Liberal Club held its AGM. The club was fortunate to have The Hon. John Ajaka MLC as a guest at the AGM, who has taken on the position of NSW Patron of the club. Brendan Lyon was also accepted as a life member of the club, as well as a new executive line up.
