The UOW Liberal Club held a fantastic New Members night on the 3rd of March 2010. New members attended the office of Liberal Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells for a night of good company, food and drinks.
The UOW Liberal Club was very fortunate to have Mike Baird MP - Shadow NSW Treasurer as our guest speaker. Mike Baird MP was a brilliant and engaging speaker who encouraged us to work hard to ensure that NSW is free from this incompetent labor government.
Also in attendance was our organisational patron Gareth Ward - Deputy Mayor of Shoalhaven City Council.

The UOW Liberal Club had a very successful Autumn Stall. We were thrilled to gain many new members. Here are some photos from the event!

30th of January 2009:
In January, members of the UOW Liberal Club met Mr. Barry O'Farrell MP, (leader of the NSW State Opposition and NSW Liberal Party) in the township of Berry. Attending the event was Councilor Gareth Ward (a former UOW Liberal Club President and now Deputy Mayor of Shoahaven City Council) and other Shoalhaven City Council delegates. Also in attendance was The Hon. John Ajaka MLC, the UOW Liberal Club State Patron who has been an invaluable resource for the club. This event showed the true prominence of the UOW Liberal Club in the on the NSW South Coast; a club with wide ranging political connections and a reputation for having our voices heard within the highest circles of Parliamentary governance.
It was to the the credit of Brad Winton, President of Gerringong Liberal Branch, a University of Wollongong PH.D candidate and the Immediate Past President of the UOW Liberal Club to organise such a successful event.
